Coverville Podcast commented….“Out of all the cover songs I’ve heard, I’ve never had so much feedback from our listeners of your remake of The Pink Floyd Polka (Comfortably Numb),” which just scratches the surface of Copper Box.
Wisconsin Blues Society describes Copper Box as “…one of the favorites of the Fox Valley Blues Festival. This hot Zydeco Swamp/Blues Rock outfit with a great baritone and tenor sax gal and a hot accordion man. This group cooks and swings with some of the best Zydeco-influenced groups I’ve seen anywhere in the country.”

The Trio’s repertoire embraces jazz, pop, folk, country and Americana.
Three musicians, heartfelt harmonies, virtuoso instrumentals and the best of traditional and original American music. Tom Waselchuk, Jodi Jean Amble and Doug Brown performed the first time at the Spring Green General Store’s annual Beatlefest. On the set list was Paul McCartney’s “Honey Pie”.
It was the obvious name for this sweet trio.
July 25th – Buffalo Gospel
Thanks for your support: Family Dental Care – Russ Christian, DDS
At the heart of all great music is a story, and for that matter, a storyteller. The stories behind Milwaukee-based Buffalo Gospel begin with its founder Ryan Necci and his early introduction, through his father’s record collection, to country music, John Prine and Townes Van Zandt. Growing up in a small, lower middle class farm town, the songs of love and loss and broken blue-collar dreams seeped into him. When he started writing his own music over a decade ago, it was inevitable that the timeless quality of Country/Western and Americana arrangements would profoundly inform his art. Building on a solid foundation of heartfelt and heartbreaking country & western and Americana arrangements, as well as featuring a stellar cast of local and national musicians, Milwaukee-based band Buffalo Gospel delivers wholly original material that manages to feel utterly timeless. Buffalo Gospel’s music has been praised as “minimalist and masterful,” “musically arresting,” and “Milwaukee’s Best Kept Secret.”
August 1st – Trapper Schoepp
Thanks for your support: Village Smile Care – Angela Cotey, DDS
Trapper Schoepp is a young man who’s befriended a strange and diverse cast of characters during his 24 years. That small army of rogues and rebels, drifters and dreamers, soldiers and schemers populate his songs, their tragedies and comedies, their lives and deaths recalled in his finely etched musical vignettes.
In April 2018, Trapper Schoepp performed in Italy, Belgium, Sweden, Germany and the Netherlands. Click here for a review by Michael Hunt in OnMilwaukee.
