The Whiskey Farm – July 31, 2013

The Whiskey Farm performed for a huge crowd to close out the 2013 WNL concert season. The mix of bluegrass, folk and magical harmonies went on into the night long past sunset. Thank you Jason, Brett, Chantelle, Clark and Matt for your wonderful music that we won’t soon forget.

Boo Bradley – July 10, 2013

It was another beautiful night in Mount Horeb and everyone came out to enjoy the warm evening and listen to the one-man-band Boo Bradley. He entertained the crowd with toe-tapping tunes and wonderful stories of the origin of the music and some of the instruments he played. Kids played with hulla-hoops and danced. Another perfect Wednesday night in July at Grundahl Park.

The Afrofunkstars – July 3, 2013

Tani Diakite and The Afrofunk stars took the stage to open the 2013 WNL concert series and the crowd of hundreds were treated to one of the most talented group of musicians to ever play at Wednesday Night Live. The kamale ngoni (young man’s harp) and the African drum beats blended to create hypnotic sounds that kept the crowd dancing throughout the night. The evening ended way too early and left us wanting more, more, more . . . J & the Spacemen – August 1st, 2012

I don’t know if the bus crash story is true or not (https://www.facebook.com/JAndTheSpacemen) but J & the Spacemen landed in Mount Horeb tonight and played music that was out of this world. The five (local?) musicians played all original songs for the crowd that gathered for the last WNL concert of the summer. About an hour after the show ended, some people reported seeing a bright disc with white and blue lights hovering over Grundahl Park. As they approached to get a closer look, the object shot straight up into the night sky, took a sharp turn to the northwest, and disappeared.  Very strange!!

the Zweifel Brothers – July 25, 2012

It was hot during the day, but as the Zweifel Brothers took the stage a breeze kicked up and the temperature started to drop. It was another beautiful night for music at Grundahl Park in Mount Horeb.

Bodhinay – July 27, 2011

Bodhinay closed out the 2011 season with a fantastically energetic mix of Celtic, Tango, Gypsy, Americana and World Music. Randal Harrison’s violin, Stas Venglevski’s bayan accordian and Evan Leahy’s percussion filled the Grundahl Park pavilion with sound that had the audience on their feet cheering and applauding every number. Thank you Bodhinay for a great, great night of music. (click pics for larger view)

The Getaway Band – July 20, 2011

The weatherman said it would be HOT. It was NOT. As the sun went lower in the sky the breeze kept the crowd cool and the band sizzled. The six members of the band pumped out song after song that totally engaged the crowd. It was another great night for music in Mount Horeb. All Images Copyright © 2011 cJefko Photography. Dollar Bill & the Bucks – July 13, 2011

The band grabbed the crowd early and kept them toe tappin’ until 8:45 with their honky tonk classic country music. A beautiful July night with clear skies and in the mid 70s. (click on pics for larger view) All Images Copyright © 2011 cJefko Photography. All Rights Reserved.
